Biggs Nu-Vu Motel

The staff are wonderful, and the manager is really friendly. I love how beautiful the motel is, and the rooms were amazing too. I honestly don’t have words for how great the place and the people were. Thanks so much for all your help!

The biggest problem was privacy. A housekeeper opened our door twice without knocking, once while we were asleep and again as we were getting ready. The door chain helped, but it would make sense to have a “Please Do Not Disturb” sign for occupied rooms. We were there just one night, and this was the main issue for me. There was also an odd, really unpleasant smell when my wife and I walked in. Luckily, we had an air freshener with us. I killed at least five flies, and the shower and sink drained so slowly that the water took about 10 minutes to go down. The TV in our first room wasn’t working, possibly because of a network connection, so the front clerk moved us to the next room, which was totally great. There’s a food place across the lot and a gas station nearby.

The view is beautiful, and I had a really nice stay at The Nu Vu Motel. The management was great and went out of their way to make me comfortable. If you’re passing through Biggs Junction and need a room for a night or two, I’d recommend it.

The room was clean, which is the only reason I’m giving it two stars. There was no toilet paper and nobody available to bring some, so we had to buy our own at Pilot next door. The table was so short it seemed made for kindergarten, and its wobbly legs tipped over our coffee cups. Someone was using a weed eater outside at 8:30 pm, and the showers had no safety rails. The desk person asked for my card but wrote down the number instead of running it. Won’t be back.
