Woodspring Suites Billings

I was here for months for work with my wife, three kids, and pup. The place was clean, and the service was great. The front desk staff were awesome and interacted with the kids while we worked at the refinery. They have washers and dryers, though I do wish there were a pool and hot tub.

After a 13-hour drive, some of it through a snowstorm, we arrived and learned that “pet-friendly” meant dogs only. The receptionist was nice and pointed us to another hotel, but the trip could’ve been avoided if the website had said clearly that other pets weren’t accepted. Please update it so this doesn’t happen to someone else.

The room was very clean, and the king-size bed was comfortable. The location was good, about 10 minutes from downtown and the hospitals. It’s a nice, modern motel with a kitchenette, but there were no plates, cutlery, pots, or pans. I guess you have to ask for them.

Seriously, this feels more like a motel. There’s no hair dryer or lotion in the room, and though it’s an extended-stay place, there aren’t any utensils. There’s also nowhere to put my luggage. Even the Motel6 I stayed at had more in-room amenities. I’m shocked my work recommended this place. There’s no phone either, so I have to walk over to the front desk if I want to talk to them. When someone in another room cooks, the smell gets into mine. It’s outrageous. No wonder the window was open when I first walked in, in the middle of winter.
