Hampton Inn Birmingham Colonnade

After celebrating Mother’s Day with a beautiful mother, I was too tired to drive the 2 hours and 30 minutes back to Atlanta, where I needed to be for work and to get my son up for school. I stopped at the Hampton Inn late that evening, and Paul greeted me right away. He understood the situation and made sure I got a quiet room. I used my rewards and got a good rate, too. Much appreciated!

We come here often and have always had clean rooms and great service. The pool could use a little TLC after all the rain lately, but I’m sure they’ll take care of it soon.

The Hilton system kept going down and there was a lot happening, but front desk clerk Debra handled it patiently. She kept guests comfortable and updated, communicated clearly, and managed everything herself while also talking with her manager by phone. She did a great job. We need more people like her in the world.

We were visiting our daughter at college and had a pretty good stay, though our room seemed to have stinkbugs, as they’re called locally. My husband removed several every day. The room itself was clean and spacious, but a hotel room shouldn’t have bugs. The staff were friendly and professional. AYLISA made dinner pleasant and full of laughs, and we enjoyed having her around. Paul was also great at his job, with easy smiles and good service. We’ll be back.
