Hilton Birmingham Downtown at UAB

The hospitality was what made this stay special. Taylor and Shaud went out of their way to welcome me, and the front desk greeted me warmly and made check-in quick and easy. Every staff member I met was kind, attentive, and professional, and I felt right at home. My room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. The bed felt like sleeping on clouds, and I liked the complimentary water, good toiletries, and plenty of charging outlets. The hotel is close to restaurants, UAB, and local attractions. Dining on site was fantastic, and breakfast had a better mix of healthy and hearty choices than I expected. The atmosphere was welcoming, too. Whether you’re here for work, school, or a relaxing break, I highly recommend it. I’ll be back. 10/10!

Tracey Doss made my visit feel personal. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made me feel valued, not like just another reservation. The welcome at check-in was warm and genuine, and the rest of the Hilton UAB team were courteous and helpful. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with modern touches that made traveling easier. The hotel felt inviting, and the restaurant and lounge were great, with good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. This was one of my best hotel stays. I left refreshed and appreciated, and I’ll definitely return and recommend it to friends and colleagues. Thanks to Tracey and the team!

The only thing I liked was having a Starbucks there. The woman working in it was pleasant and helpful. Otherwise, this was the worst Hilton stay I’ve ever had. We weren’t greeted when we arrived and were made to feel like a bother. Staff seemed lackadaisical, and the room was awful. Things didn’t seem to work, we had to keep asking for supplies, and there wasn’t even extra toilet paper. We ate at the hotel restaurant, where I was charged $32 for a glass of whiskey and the food was awful and inedible, so I sent it back. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Sheraton.

Gloria made the difference during my stay at Hilton UAB. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed, and her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made me feel valued. The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything felt top-notch from start to finish. I’ll definitely return and recommend Hilton UAB to others.
