Sky Inn Hotel

The good parts were that the water was hot, the shower pressure was decent, the room was quiet all night, and the owners, who I think live on site, were nice enough and stayed up until 11:30. The bedding smelled clean, too, though the duvet had stains, and we didn't see bedbugs. The pillows were a mixed bag: one was fluffy but had yellow drool stains, so we didn't use it, while the other two were so thin we didn't realize at first they were full pillows folded into quarters. The room had a king bed, TV, fridge, sink, and a separate bathroom with a tub and toilet. There were no mirrors, and the bathroom had only two bars of soap, a washcloth, no hand towel, and one towel with a noticeable hairball. The shower also had used soap, its wrapper, and hairs in the tub. We smelled so much weed on entering that we checked around for some in the room. Check-in was through bulletproof glass, and we got one key with a list of prices for extra keys. The parking lot looked clean, with some nice cars. If we hadn't been driving all day and the booking were refundable, we would've left. If you're broke and desperate for just a bed or shower, you could risk it. Cable TV was available. The restaurant across the street was sketchier, with only a drive-up window, no view inside, and orders by number through an automated speaker. It had good reviews, though, and the food was actually pretty good.
