Days Inn & Suites Clermont

The staff were very friendly at check-in and checkout, and the sheets were very clean. They even folded the soap into little boats or bunnies, and the bathroom had good towels. The pool in the middle of the property looked clean, though I didn't have time to try it. The rooms feel old and have a distinctive smell, and the big windows only have darkening curtains, so it's gloomy inside during the day unless you want people looking in. The AC was really loud, and I couldn't figure out if it could be turned off overnight. With the heat there, though, I'd rather sleep with the noise than sweat like crazy. Breakfast is very limited right now: coffee, tea, juice, milk, cereal, jam, and toast. It's really okay for one or two nights, but I wouldn't recommend staying longer.

We had a great time checking out the lounge after my daughter's softball game. My son and I found people singing, dancing, and hanging out at Friday night Karaoke, and there were pool tables too. The hotel looks older, but the price was good, our beds were clean and comfortable, and we slept well. Breakfast was good, and they're pet friendly. Crystal and Chastity helped arrange a late checkout while we were figuring out whether we'd need another night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place has personality, and we were very happy with our stay.

We just wanted a little break from home, and this was so relaxing. The new bar was fun: we played music on the jukebox, had a few brews, and shot pool. They only had lagers, but those went nicely with the pizza, which was SO good. Everyone on staff was friendly and personable. The pool was clean and inviting, and the room was great too, with clean beds, new sheets, fluffy pillows, and a bathroom with clean granite countertops. Even the carpets had been shampooed. We'll definitely come back.

The pool was clean, breakfast was good, fresh, and well stocked, and room 160 was neat and orderly, stocked, and looked like the pictures. I was dreading the stay because of some reviews, but it was fine, with no sign of bugs. Since it was an ADA room, I assume it was larger than regular rooms. The rating is based on price versus value. The place could use a really thorough cleaning, updated patio furniture, cleaner walkways, and better lighting. Early morning noise is real, but it's a travel stop, not a resort. If you need simple accommodations in the Clermont area, it's fine, just don't expect a vacation resort.
