We picked this over the BW for the same price because this place served a full breakfast, while BW only had a continental one. The breakfast was a standard full hotel breakfast, and the WiFi worked well. There were about a thousand TV channels, too. The room was clean and comfortable. It’s an old motel, basically like the other hotels along Main Street in Bishop. The AC and heater were in the sink and closet area, so they weren’t as loud or bothersome as units under a window. It was absolutely fine.

The breakfast was what impressed me most, lots of choices, clean, and well stocked. Check-in was great, and the room worked out perfectly. Friendly, clean, and a great value. Right off Main St.

We got lucky finding a room during a crazy busy weekend when the town was basically full. Abi at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming, and went out of her way to get the room ready quickly for us and our service dog. The hot chocolate at the front desk added to the festive feel.

The room and linens were clean, and the front desk staff were great and very helpful. The heater/AC fan has a bad bearing, though. When it starts up, it sounds like an airplane engine coming apart. Still, it was a good room, and I’d stay here again.

I found the bathroom floor flooded when I entered the room, then saw water dripping through the ceiling light, an electrical fixture. That’s a serious safety risk, and it’s hard to believe they rented the room in that condition. I went straight to the front desk and asked to move. They refused, saying there were “no rooms available,” even as they checked in other guests in front of me. That felt completely dishonest, on top of the negligence. Rude staff, unsafe conditions, and no accountability. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Avoid this place unless you’re okay paying to be put in a dangerous room and then treated like you’re the problem.
