A great little motel. The room looks recently renovated, and they did a fantastic job. The bed was clean and comfortable, and there’s a small kitchenette that would’ve been handy if we’d stayed longer. The bathroom was clean, the shower pressure was strong, and the water stayed hot the whole time. There was a little road noise, but the AC made enough white noise that I didn’t hear it. It was also about a third of the price of the expensive casino hotels.

Affordable, convenient, and a good time. Absolutely amazing.
We won’t be back. I stayed here when I got married years ago, but this time was a mess from the minute we arrived. There was food stuck to the cabinet, the coffee pot didn’t work, and the shower curtain was filthy. The fridge and microwave were dirty too. The room was very dark, the outlet by the sink and mirror didn’t work, and the TV remote had no batteries. After I put batteries in, it still kept flipping channels and wouldn’t let me choose one. The temperature knob was broken, so I couldn’t tell which way to turn it. There was a red stain on the toilet seat that looked like someone had left a period stain. It was hard to get past. The bed was too small for two and uncomfortable. We were up and down all night, either because of the bed or because the room was too hot or too cold. I’m disabled, and they put us on the top floor where I had to climb the stairs. The lighting was so poor that I couldn’t see well enough to do my hair or makeup unless I sat in the car. They charged a nonrefundable $75 fee for my dogs, including my older, well-trained service dog. Everywhere else I’ve stayed, the pet charge was a refundable deposit. We didn’t save anything by staying in this dump. For what we paid for one lousy night, we could’ve had a really nice room at the casino for $200-plus.
I had a great night’s sleep in the very comfortable plush bed, and the room was nice and clean. It would’ve been five stars if there’d been somewhere to sit, like a chair, and bedside tables. I was leaving early to get over the mountains, but couldn’t find a place to drop off the key. I had to wait for them to open so I could return it.
I’d never heard of this place, and even after staying at 5-star hotels, I thought it was amazing. It’s easy to pass by, but you’d be missing out. Good rates, amenities, and a beautiful location. My kids loved it too. Skipping rocks across the street at the creek amazed them and got them away from their devices for a while. Thanks so much. The beds are pretty awesome, too, and I’ll definitely stay here next time I come up to the mountains for Uncle Charlie’s Ranch.
