I’ve tried The Grill three times and never gotten good service, but went back last weekend anyway. We were seated right away, then waited 15 minutes with no sign of our waitress. I asked the waiter serving the next table if I could order. He said he wasn’t our server but would tell her we were ready. Nobody came to take our order, so we walked up to The Century Casino.

We gave The Grill another chance and tried different dishes the next morning. That meal was pretty good, so I’m adding stars. I guess it depends on what you order. I’ll post a photo of my second meal because yum! The first time, the food was just okay. We’d traveled from out of state and were really hungry. Service was good, but they had no syrup for the pancakes and the card machine was broken, so we had to use our gambling money to pay. Not a huge deal, just thought you might want to know.

We had breakfast on a snowy Tuesday morning, and it beat expectations. The restaurant was nearly empty, with just one other table, but the service was polite and the food was delicious. The value was outstanding, too. I’ve never seen six slices of bacon for a $3 side before. It was actually the best meal of our stay.

The service was off the charts, which you don’t get very often in Black Hawk. My wife and I ate at the Grand Bristro Restaurant this evening, and both the food and atmosphere were great.

Saar was great, and so was the food. The restaurant prices are very fair, and they give you a good bit to eat. We’re from Georgia and will be back! 02/16/26 11:00am
