Drake Motel

We needed a room at the last minute for an ATV trip and got prompt, friendly service at a great price. The rooms were very clean, had cute themes, kitchenettes, and comfortable beds. Being able to park right outside the room was handy. We’ll definitely return and bring friends.

We had a really nice four-night stay. Our first room had a kitchenette, which we appreciated. We knew when booking that it wouldn’t be available for the whole visit, so we later switched to a regular room. The owners even offered to move our things for us. The rooms aren’t very updated, but everything was clean and had a homey feel. It was also easy to pull the car right up to the door for loading and unloading. We plan to stay again. A few blocks away, Hungry Duck had great food. The Heat Burger was amazing. Across the road from the restaurant, there’s a cute home decor shop called Found North Goods that I’d recommend checking out.

Mike and Elva were very nice and accommodating. I went fishing with some buddies, and my friends have been staying here for six years. I can see why: the rates are good, the rooms are nice, and it’s centrally located for fishing. They also have a fish cleaning station. I highly recommend it.

Elva and Mike are such nice owners and made us feel right at home. The rooms are cozy and very clean. We had a large suite with two separate bedrooms, a fridge, stove, and utensils for just 108 dollars, and there’s a patio with a grill you can use to cook. A bar and restaurant next door has nightly specials for around 6 dollars, and there’s a grocery store within walking distance. There are some fun places to explore in the area too. It’s a really nice place.
