I've got no complaints about my stay, and I really admire the young man's attitude, focus, dedication, and soul. He's one of the most humble people I've seen in years, and he's kind and generous with guests. He's doing what he can for everyone, but nobody should have to run an entire property alone the way he does, nonstop since Oct 2024. He handles breakfast, cleans the parking lot and lobby, vacuums the halls and stairs, cleans rooms, and does the laundry, including guest laundry. Sometimes he stays up because he's afraid he'll oversleep before putting breakfast out. He'll even clean your room if you ask after your 8-10 shift. The kid hardly gets time to himself. So when I read other reviews complaining about fixable problems, while overlooking that he did talk to them or try to help, it bothers me. People don't seem to understand what it's like to cover a whole property. One review said security was "none" and mentioned people doing donuts on the gravel. There are cameras around the building, plus two very well-mannered four-legged friends who listen well and stay locked up for extra security. They wouldn't hurt anyone unless threatened, so complaints about those dogs seem downright unfair.

At 3 am, I woke up with bedbugs biting me wherever they could. I've never had any kind of bug infestation before. I went to the front desk, told the man, and he moved me to another room, but that was it. I asked for at least a partial refund for the night to help cover washing all my clothes, and they refused. They offered credit for a future visit, but I'm never going back to that hotel chain in my life.

I've stayed here many times and they've always been so accommodating. Their care and respect for animals and the people who look after them is overwhelming. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. I keep meaning to post a review but get busy and forget, no excuse. Thanks, Super 8 in Blackwell,Ok.

BED BUG CITY! We woke up with bed bugs, and the man refused to refund the room. Why would I want credit for another visit after you gave me bed bugs? I'm heading to the laundry mat. Are you serious? DON'T STAY HERE!

The front desk staff were super nice, but dealing with the owner was infuriating. We booked through Air BNB and added another month because I travel for work. When I checked out and no longer needed that extra month, the owner said he'd fix it, but he didn't. Now Airbnb wants another 600 for a room I didn't even stay in for more than two weeks, and the owner won't remove it from my account. I don't recommend staying here. The prices keep changing, with eight different prices, and the rooms aren't clean. Our pillows were yellow and stained, with something sticky stuck to one from the inside. I'd give the place negative stars if I could.
