Anchor Inn Motel

The location is the one good thing here. You have to call when you arrive, then wait for someone to show up, and the staff were rude when I had a problem with the room they chose for me. I booked a deluxe room online with a kitchenette, but there was no kitchenette, and I was told that was just what I got. Avoid room 108 in the corner. The beds squeaked and were uncomfortable, the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 1960s, and there wasn’t even bar soap. The dispensers had watered-down lotion. There was a small dorm-sized fridge that smelled bad, and the fluorescent shop lighting made the room feel even worse. The ice machine is by their makeshift office, which was filthy. I won’t be back.

The location was superb, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and full of nice amenities. Everything looked new and updated. Staff were there when needed, prompt, and courteous. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.

The area was very quiet, and the owners were accommodating. We stayed one night at Anchor Inn Motel and found it really nice. The motel had been recently remodeled.

I felt safe and slept really well for the price. The ice machine was the best one I used on my whole trip. The kitchen was handy, and even though the bathroom was small, we managed fine and felt comfortable. It was relaxing by the water, and we took a nice evening walk along main st and watched the sunset.
