Days Inn by Wyndham Blairsville

Michelle greeted us with a really friendly welcome. The rooms and hallways were quiet, the bedding was fresh and new, and the bathroom was clean. The continental breakfast was small but good, with a waffle maker.

I found the Days Inn in Blairsville cozy, comfortable, and clean, with regular room service. The front desk staff were helpful during my stay. Walmart and several restaurants are conveniently nearby. This is where I'll stay when I'm in the Blairsville area.

I stayed here in June 2025 and had one of my worst travel experiences. I had posted a review before, but when I checked later it had been removed, so I'm sharing these serious problems again. The first room's toilet flooded the bathroom, and I was moved twice more because of issues in the rooms. One air conditioner was covered in mold. In another room, the phone wasn't attached to the wall and several light fixtures had no bulbs. There was visible mold in the shower, and the hotel's common areas had no working air conditioning. Outside doors were left propped open overnight, which raised safety concerns. The most disturbing issue involved my aunt. Housekeeping confirmed there was a bed bug in her room, and she was told to leave so it could be sprayed. We chose to get a refund and find somewhere else. With the mold, flooding, broken amenities, bed bugs, and security concerns, the stay was unacceptable. I can't recommend this hotel.

It was perfectly fine, but the room got stuffy and it could be pretty loud. The metal bedframes clanged and rattled whenever you brushed against them.
