The Hotel Henry

We brought our dogs and came back to find a fancy bag of treats waiting for them, just one of the lovely touches here. I’ve never had such friendly people or better service at a hotel. The lounge and bar area is beautiful, the rooms are amazing, and Hotel Henry is close to great Blanco restaurants and attractions. If I could, I’d give this fabulous hotel and staff 10 stars. We highly recommend it.

For our two nights in Blanco, there was plenty to do, with good places to eat, shop, walk, and hike, plus cool architecture. We were also in town for the SpeedingSprings HotRodPreserve Open House. The hotel is bigger than it looks, clean, newly updated, and well managed. The manager-hostess was attentive and welcoming. The lobby front desk feels like a quiet Cheers Bar, and our room was 150 away. 10 stars!

The evening meal was great, and the breakfast turned out just as good. The bed was great too. I also got to chat with Chef Grayson in the morning, what a character! Even before a full night here, the place was easy to find, the room superb, and the staff very welcoming.

The beds were comfortable, and we had an adjoining room with two beds plus a king in the other room. Staff were very nice and accommodating, and pretty much everything is within walking distance. I believe the hotel has been open less than a year, so there’s a ton of upside. Our room could’ve used more seating. Having one remote for two TVs was a minor thing, but worth mentioning.
