Blue Sage Inn & Suites

I’d only booked The Blue Sage as a place to sleep on my drive home, so I wasn’t expecting much. It really surprised me. Check-in was great, just a quick text with the room number and door code. The remodeled room was large, with a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The property has its own unique charm, and the rooms are clean. Staff were very accommodating, especially Layton and John, who were incredibly helpful.

The shower door was my one concern because it wouldn’t stay shut while I was showering. Otherwise, the room was spacious and well appointed, with a comfortable bed and pillows, a refrigerator, microwave, and small coffee maker. It’s a very small hotel in a small town, only seven or eight rooms, but the fast-food-style breakfast was quite lavish.

Check-in was simple and easy, exactly what we needed, and breakfast the next morning was great. It was far better than what we had in Vale after paying three times as much. The room was perfectly clean, nicely air conditioned, which really mattered in that location, and very comfortable. The bed was easily one of the nicest I’ve ever slept on. We hadn’t expected much and just wanted somewhere comfortable to rest before another long day of driving, so we were both caught off guard by how wonderful this little hotel was. My only regret is not buying a t-shirt.
