The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and I really appreciate the team. The building could be a great place to stay in the middle of Killeen, but it needs investment and updates. The rooms feel dated, and the kitchen sink and bathroom toilet both leaked, problems that seemed tied to preventive maintenance. It also needs painting and plumbing work. Opening the windows for fresh air would help with the trapped steam and stale air, though I understand the heat is a consideration.

Kenny kelly, the sales manager, was the best part of the stay. He helped me arrange a block of rooms in time for a funeral my family and I were having, and he was easy to work with and very hospitable. The staff were wonderful, the rooms were cleaned, and I had an excellent stay. Breakfast could use a little work, but that's okay. Couldn't ask for a better trip.

The shower made a loud noise whenever it was running. Apart from that, it was a lovely stay and everything was wonderful.

The refrigerator was noisy, the AC was loud, and the refrigerator itself looked battered. The dishwasher handle was broken and old, the carpet was torn, and there was mold or something on the inside door's paint. I also saw mold in the shower, and the shower caulking and baseboard need replacing. Very disappointing. Is this really a Residence Inn? I won't stay here again.

The hot water has been out for two days, so expect freezing showers. The front desk said fixing it was above their pay grade and that it might not be repaired until Monday, meaning possibly three more days of icy water. At $149 a night plus taxes, with a non-refundable booking, that's frustrating. The place is privately owned and has already been paid, so what do they care?
