The staff were welcoming, attentive, and very friendly. Our room was clean, though we did find one dirty fork by the TV. The clock was broken, and there weren't enough outlets by the nightstands or elsewhere in the room. We also ended up buying a comforter at Target because the thin bed cover wasn't warm or comfortable enough.

We were impressed with the rooms, and the staff were awesome and went above and beyond. My husband and I needed somewhere we could fit our BIG PETERBILT and a 53' TRAILER, and they helped us figure out where to park it. The rooms were very clean, and staying here was a pleasure. Thank you, A ++.

CESSPOOL, and they tried to double bill me! The noise was ridiculous, from a couple arguing a few rooms away to what I think was an older woman running up and down the hall, talking to herself at 2 a.m. My sheets were never changed, and no one offered me any to change myself. Don't count on the continental breakfast either, the coffee was sour, maybe because the urn hadn't been washed. There are other hotels in town for similar prices, so I'd run from this one. The place is conveniently between the nearly deserted College Mall and IU campus, but the room was filthy. There was dirt on the walls, dried blood on the bathroom door, cracked shower walls, and dirt and footprints on the chipped headboard. The floors were disgusting, and I couldn't take my shoes off. Even the nonsmoking room smelled like a nasty wet ashtray. The phone never worked during my whole week there. The blow dryer in the room was broken, so I went to the front desk for a replacement; I also asked them to replace the phone, but they never did. The shower handle didn't work the whole time, so I got a cold shower every morning. When I asked someone to fix it, they left me a screwdriver to adjust it myself, and that didn't work either.

We had 11 or 12 inches of snow during my two night stay, just as expected, and the staff worked on clearing the lot. They also helped me shovel around my car so I could get out. I was impressed by how friendly they were to an old guy with a bad back, even though they were doing their jobs. Once three guys pushed, I could get going after digging the car out enough. The bagels, waffles, and coffee at breakfast were excellent, and I sure needed them. I'd recommend this place anytime, even in a snowstorm.

Travelodge was just what I was looking for on my Bloomington visit, close to the University, dining, and IU Health Hospital. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the newly renovated rooms were clean and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend it and plan to stay again on future visits.
