It's a lovely old hotel with clean, sophisticated bathrooms and modern rooms decorated in a tasteful, minimal style. We booked online ahead of time. When we arrived, we called the number at the desk, and they texted access codes so we could head out and explore Tyler. Looking forward to coming back and trying the hotel bar, though it's closed on Sundays.

I had a wonderful stay at this great boutique hotel on the Square in Tyler. It has eight rooms, which I believe are all suites, and it's clean, modern, and centrally located for Tyler attractions and nice restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in at any hotel. Thank you!

My husband and I are really impressed. Everything was clean and smelled nice, from the floors to the roomy space. There's a separate water closet, a walk-in shower, high ceilings, lots of storage, robes, and extra towels. The mini fridge was actually cold, and there was a Nespresso, dishes, and a cute little kitchenette. I just checked in for my nephew's wedding and loved the place. If I stay in Tyler again, I'll absolutely choose it.

The Thomas Hotel is comfortable, well located, and beautifully appointed. Michelle, the bartender at the bar “The Judge”, is delightful. We've stayed more than once and will keep coming back when we're in town.

The rooms have a small living area with a kitchen and couch, and they're clean. The beds are comfortable too. We often struggle to sleep in hotels, but that's not been an issue here. Staff are friendly and helpful, and there's free access to a full CrossFit gym just a few steps away. We also found good restaurants and coffee shops nearby, so it works especially well for a work or school trip. We wouldn't pick it for a vacation. The walls are thin, but earplugs and a noise machine are provided, and those solved the noise issues for my husband and me. Parking wasn't always available right outside, but we had no trouble finding a spot at the city square just steps away. I agree with one review about the night side table and mirror: Room 7 needs a table on both sides of the bed and a full-length mirror. Those would be easy fixes.
