Homewood Suites by Hilton Tyler

Nate K. got our university group sorted out, even though three different people had booked our conference rooms. He was great at both check-in and checkout. We had excellent rooms, a delicious fresh breakfast, and space to practice our presentations. Thanks, Nate.

Korea was the best, especially as the wonderful breakfast cook. The recent remodel looks great too, and both the lobby and exercise room are nice. The missing piece is an EV charger. The one next door at Days Inn has been broken for a long time. A Tesla Destination charger could bring Homewood Suites more business, but for now we’ll have to look elsewhere in town.

The rooms and location were great, and breakfast was okay, though I think they could improve it. I left a pair of shoes behind and have been trying to reach housekeeping to get them back. The front desk keeps taking my number and saying they’ll call, but I’ve called every day and still just get the runaround. Hopefully this review helps.

My family and I stay at Homewood Suites more than 12 times a year, and this was our worst visit, at the Tyler, Texas location. The room was dirty and had several things that needed repair, but the front desk employee didn’t want to hear about it. I was told he called it complaining. The African American man at the desk, who seemed sassy and bothered by customers, gave us an attitude unlike anything we’ve encountered in years of staying at Homewood Suites. If a room is dirty at check-in and things need fixing, who are we supposed to tell when the person checking us in seems not to want to deal with guests or the job?
