Hilton Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport

The staff were polite, check-in through the app was easy, checkout for shop items was simple, and the actual beds were soft and comfortable. The hotel is close to the airport, but the shuttle doesn't start until 4.30am. Since many guests are there for the airport, that makes it impossible to reach a 5am departure without taking a taxi. There was noticeable wear and tear in the rooms. Even after an upgrade to a pure wellness room, the sofa was worn out and couldn't be made into a bed. I also couldn't complete checkout entirely contactless and had to stop at the desk. I expected more, though I'd consider another stay if they make some of those improvements. Thanks.

It took 20 minutes, several calls, and trips downstairs just to borrow a wine opener, after the front desk said the hotel didn't have one. It felt like a mission impossible, and the staff could use better training. I did appreciate the receptionist offering us late checkout in case our flight was delayed by the incoming snowstorm.

The room was clean for my one-night stay, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. My only complaint is that the walls are a little thin. The hotel is close to MSP and shopping, and it has a full bar and restaurant, which is rare outside resort areas. The drinks were great and the food was excellent. I'll stay here again on my next business trip.

Great location, and the elevators were quick. The bathroom mirror was clearly broken, with wires showing, and the lamp's charging plug was so loose it barely worked. The TV was fine, but didn't let me scan a code to watch from my phone. The bartenders were nice, though they kept asking every couple of minutes whether I wanted another drink or to close out.
