Holiday Inn Express Bloomington

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and I had a great stay. Getting hot coffee at 3am before my flight was a real help. Gary Lee drove the transit and was friendly and very helpful.

I drove 8.5 hours from Canada about a month ago for a concert on Nov 21, 2025, and booked here because it was near MOA, which my teenage son wanted to visit. Katie, sorry if I’ve got the spelling wrong, checked us in and was so nice. She showed us how the shuttle app worked and had our keys ready in just a few minutes. The hotel and rooms were clean, the beds and pillows were close to perfect, and even though there’s a busy highway nearby, it was quiet in our room. The shuttle driver that evening was also one of the nicest people I’ve met, really personable and professional. This was hands down the best hotel stay I’ve had. When I’m back in the Twin Cities, I already know where I’m staying. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

The room was always set to a comfortable temperature, the pool was very clean, and housekeeping made our beds each morning after we went out. We drove ourselves around, but it was nice knowing a shuttle to the mall of america was available, and Walmart was right in view. Terry deserves a shoutout. He was awesome, cheerful, and made us feel at home. The staff were friendly throughout, and they made our first time booking a hotel on our own easy and comfortable. I’d absolutely stay again.

A couple of days ago I called again, hoping someone would take the time to look into the billing mistake. Kayla was the person who finally did. She listened carefully, asked the right questions, checked the computer system, and got to the bottom of what everyone else had treated like an impossible investigation. She stayed calm and sincere, understood how upsetting the whole thing had been, and even apologized for the bad experience. Her customer service was excellent. Kayla, thank you! You’re exactly what your workplace needs, and you deserve a raise. I’d previously written about a terrible stay at the Holiday Inn in Bloomington, MN. On top of that, they charged my card $246.65 for another person’s stay. We had the same last name, and the mix-up happened even though my own room was already paid for. I spoke with several people, but they got irritated and kept insisting my bank had made an error, which didn’t make sense.
