We had such a lovely stay. My two kids and I had a blast, and the rooms felt almost brand new, clean, cozy, comfortable, and equipped with a kitchen. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Our room overlooked the wildlife park, with a beautiful view, and it was quiet and peaceful. The hotel is right next to the park, near the mall, and a 15-minute drive from the ski area. I feel blessed and would definitely come back. I highly recommend it!

My stay has been fabulous so far. Melida (Melinda without the N) has cleaned my room twice, and both times she seemed happy to be there and was really enjoyable to talk with. She's phenomenal at her work and gave exceptional customer service. Thanks for all your hard work!

Less than half an hour after checking in with my husband and our eight-month-old, we saw a mouse in the room. We checked out right away. The front desk offered to move us, but we declined and asked to cancel the reservation. We were told we'd still be charged for one night, and that they couldn't give us a receipt because we hadn't stayed long enough. It's disheartening because we'd been looking forward to visiting the Mall of America as a family. Now we have to scramble to find somewhere else to stay. If we wanted to play with mice, we'd have gone to Disney to hang out with Mickey and Minnie.

The room and breakfast were alright. The shuttle van was a different story. At 6:45pm we called for a pickup from MOA. The service lady didn't give us an estimate, but employees had told us the wait would probably be around half an hour and that they'd call when the van arrived. We waited about 15 minutes inside, then 15 at the entrance. No call, and no van we could see. We kept checking in and out of the cold, which was 19 degrees F with wind chills feeling like -2 degrees F. When we called again, we were told the driver had come, sat for 10 minutes, and left. That's bull, because we never saw a van stay more than a couple of minutes. They said the van would return in ten minutes and told us to wait outside. After 5 to 7 minutes in the entrance, we went out and waited another 15 minutes in the cold. It finally showed up around 7:47pm. We were on the phone with the front desk again and communication was difficult. The driver said nothing to us. Back at the hotel, my companion told the front desk lady we'd been outside in the cold for 15 minutes and that it wasn't okay. She just said okay and turned to another client, without even saying sorry for the trouble. While we were waiting, the woman on the phone first said she could track the van and see when it would arrive, then later said something like, "well how could I know when they are going to be there!" The whole thing was ridiculous, and nobody should have to deal with that lack of empathy.
