JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America

For our 50th wedding anniversary, my husband and I stayed at the MOA Marriott, and it was a lovely celebration. The staff made us feel welcome, our room was beautiful and spotless, and valet parking plus easy mall access made everything stress free. After the first night, they tidied the room in a delightful way we’d never experienced before. In-room dining arrived promptly with cheerful service, and the food was absolutely delicious. We both highly recommend this hotel.

The room was spacious and stylish, and the whole place felt comfortable and relaxing. The JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America is beautiful and clean, with friendly staff who were always ready to help. Its location beside the Mall of America, the biggest mall in the U.S., made shopping and dining easy, and the airport is only a short drive away. I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Minneapolis.

We were there for my wife’s birthday, and the staff made us feel welcome by leaving a lovely set of chocolates. The hotel has an executive lounge for Bonvoy members, an indoor pool, and mostly nice amenities, along with the great service you’d expect from most JWs. Its biggest draw is the direct connection to the Mall of America, which you can reach from inside without going outdoors.

Being able to attend this conference meant a lot to me. I have had a severe fragrance allergy since 2012, after surviving Stevens Johnson Syndrome, and public events are very difficult. I’ve lived with it for 14 years. People have sneered at me, shamed or mocked me, or dismissed me, even after seeing hives and blisters appear on my skin. Going out is extremely limited, and when I do, I usually need to sit far from others. This was the first time an employee tried to help me stay safe so I could enjoy life. Brandi, your empathy and kindness mean more than I can say. You’re a gem, and I’m eternally grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you. My husband and I attended a three-day conference in the ballroom last weekend. We asked if we could move chairs near the back wall to avoid people wearing fragrance. At first we were told no, but banquet Manager Brandi overheard and immediately found hotel chairs for us. She placed them near the wall, not against it because that would break fire code, and checked on me throughout the day. A few people joked that we had the best seats in the house because the chairs were so cozy. We arrived early the next morning to keep our place, but someone else had taken it, including one of the people who had commented the day before. Brandi kindly explained that I couldn’t sit in the crowd and that our seats had been saved so I could safely attend. The couple was kind and moved, and Brandi put up reserved signs.
