I felt so unsafe and disgusted that I checked out right away. The room had no working lights or air conditioning, and random people were wandering around the dim property. The desk clerk was extremely stressed because she was the only person working the whole place, and mentioned something about a 24-hour shift. Police showed up for a stolen vehicle. This is a very unsafe part of town. How bad was it? Don’t stay here. Shame on you, Wyndham!

Yea, no. This place might have been nice in the 70s, but now it’s old, dated, and the rooms smell musty, with dirt and dust everywhere. The mattress feels like a pile of dirt, so the name pretty much tells you what kind of long night you’re in for. I’ve honestly stayed in better homeless shelters. Not kidding.

The front desk guy was very nice, but the hotel itself was easily the worst I’ve stayed in. The online pictures made it look acceptable, and I have a bunch of photos showing how bad it was. It smelled like an ashtray, with cigarette stains and burns on the sheets. The TV looked like it was from 1990, and I had to ask for a remote. There was no breakfast, old graffiti on the nightstand and mirror, and the fire alarm wasn’t plugged in. We got just two towels, barely folded. A chunk was missing from a nightstand, and the door molding and a bathroom hole had been shoddily repaired. I knew not to expect much for the price, but this place definitely wasn’t worth the four stars.

The bed was awful and sank in half when you sat on the edge. Our first room smelled of smoke, and the replacement did too. The pool was closed without any sign to let us know. We asked for a refund, but they refused because we’d been there more than five minutes, even though it takes five minutes just to reach the room. We ended up paying for another hotel as well. Terrible staff and hotel. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more somewhere better.

The bed was comfortable and at least there were no pests. Staff were nice, but our room clearly hadn’t been cleaned: cigarette butts, trash, and used Q-tips were scattered around the floor. The furniture was badly broken, the hair dryer was broken too, and there was no toilet paper. Breakfast was a grab bag with a bottle of water, a muffin, and an oat bar. The neighborhood felt sketchy.
