La Quinta Inn

After driving straight for 13 hours, I was completely worn out and very grateful to find this hotel. The man at the desk, whose first name started with a D, was pleasant, professional, and courteous, and got me checked in right away. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. The shower had hot water with good pressure, the TV had lots of channels, and the Wi-Fi was extremely fast. I've been here less than an hour, but I can already tell I'll sleep well. Thanks for a great experience. I highly recommend this Quality Inn location.

The room and bathroom weren't clean, and the carpet felt sticky. We didn't have enough towels, so I asked the front desk politely. Instead of giving me more, they told me to find the housekeeper if I happened to see her around the building. Pretty silly, and a disappointing first stay in more than 10 years. I won't book here again.

Parking was easy and felt safe, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. I had a really comfortable stay while traveling through the area. The room was clean and quiet, just what I needed after a long drive, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I'd stay again if I'm passing through.

At best, this is a last resort for a night while passing through, when you don't have other options. Parking is limited, there are shady people lingering in the dark across the lot, and there's been heavy police activity nearby almost every night. I'm pretty sure some people live there full time. In the room, the door didn't seal and let light in all night. The window looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The toilet was dirty under the lid, and the caulking around the cracked tub looked dark black all over. There was spilled drink, I hope, on every staircase. The hair dryer was broken, the coffee maker had no filter holder so there was no coffee, and the TV remote was missing. They brought another remote, but it couldn't control the sound or power.
