We first visited in March 2025 and are excited to return in February. The location is fantastic, attached to the MOA, which is really convenient with kids, and we enjoyed the restaurants. There were unexpected drawings etched into our mirrors. I told the front desk right away, and they offered to move us. The manager also emailed an apology and offered us one free night. I thought that was wonderful. He took the issue seriously instead of ignoring it, and we’re grateful for the customer service.

The view was beautiful, but I didn’t feel valued, and the stay was disappointing for the price. Parking was a nightmare and cost a lot. My partner got stuck in the elevator and is now afraid of elevators. The rooms were mediocre, room service hours weren’t great, and the food options felt weird and expensive. The shower had only half a door, so we both got cold and flooded the bathroom. I’m also not a fan of rainfall showerheads, since half my body doesn’t get clean under them. Every time we left, the heat shut off, so we came back to a cold room in winter in MN. After dinner in the mall, we found ourselves locked out of the hotel and had to walk outside in 20-degree weather without coats to get back. It seems like requiring guests to scan their room keys when returning from the mall would solve that.

Our room is beautiful, and service has been outstanding. Thanks to Louise at the front desk for suggesting the executive room upgrade. The girls’ trip is off to a great start, with shopping and amazing appetizers in the executive suite lounge. The staff worked hard to keep the food ready for the crowd, and we enjoyed eating and watching the game in a great atmosphere. We’re looking forward to the free continental breakfasts and the view from the 13th floor for the rest of our stay. We’re shopping till we drop!

The clean room had a great city view from the 11th floor, and I loved the modern art and distinctive decor. The hotel is comfortable and conveniently connected to the Mall of America. A few things to keep in mind: FireLake Grill is a nice spot for a leisurely breakfast. With little kids, expect long walks along the hallways, and bundle up for the walk to the parking garage.

We had a great family stay with our small kids, and being attached to the biggest mall made things so convenient. Compared with the airport hotel and Radison Blue, Radison was much better for us. The lobby felt more welcoming, with a fire and hanging chairs, and the room was much larger for a similar price. There were free snacks and drinks from 5pm to 9pm, free breakfast, and a lobby restaurant with pool tables and happy hour. I’ll stay here for layovers from now on, and might add an extra night.
