Vrooman Mansion B&B

It's a beautiful house with a lovely layout, and the temperature in the rooms was just right. I was concerned it might be cold because the house is so old. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable without being overbearing like at some other B&Bs. Downtown restaurants and concert venues are less than 8 blocks away. There are extra pillows in the closet, so you can find the one that suits you.

We chose this B&B for a getaway instead of our usual hotel, and had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff were attentive, and there wasn't anything they could have done to make the stay better. Breakfast was better than any meal we've had eating out locally, let alone while traveling. We look forward to coming back to Bloomington and staying at the lovely Vrooman Mansion.

We knew after touring Vrooman Mansion that it was the one for our wedding. We'd looked around Central Illinois for a venue with something different, and this place is truly beautiful. I'd never been to a wedding anywhere like it. Pam and the staff went beyond the venue itself and did everything they could to make the day perfect. That alone would make me recommend Vrooman, but the staff were second to none. On the night of the wedding I kept expecting some problem to crop up, and they just handled everything. Our wedding there was as perfect as we'd imagined. If the space appeals to you, I can't recommend it highly enough. Many thanks to the amazing staff!

The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place if you're in Bloomington, IL. Our suite in the Carriage House at the Vroonman Mansion was perfect, with a beautiful, very spacious room. What a wonderful bed and breakfast.
