SpringHill Suites by Marriott Cincinnati Blue Ash

The pool area was clean, the rooms were clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. Most of the stay was fine, but at 10:25 this morning a male employee walked straight into my room without knocking while I was putting on my pants. Checkout was still 35 minutes away, so there was no reason for him to come in. I went to the front desk right away, but there was no manager there, and they said one wouldn’t be in that day. I was told I could write a note for the manager for tomorrow. As a woman traveling with two girls, I found the whole thing incredibly disturbing and completely unacceptable.

There was an old smell in the room, and the place was in rough shape. The room was small, with a king bed that felt more like a queen. The carpet and couch bed were heavily stained, the paint was chipping, and the washcloths and towels were hard. The sofa bed had no padding, just springs. The TV and phone were outdated, and I couldn’t even connect to my Netflix account. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

They clearly take pride in this place, especially in the clean bathrooms. And the beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. This has to be my favorite hotel by far.

I picked this place because the reviews looked good, but never again. The room smelled awful, so I ended up buying candles at the store. The pool was closed, and they hadn’t mentioned that on the website. The mini fridge barely kept anything cold, and the front desk was unattended about half the time.
