Wingate by Wyndham - Cincinnati - Blue Ash

For a fancy dance competition’s host hotel, this wasn’t what I expected. The room felt somewhat outdated and had an overwhelming burnt plastic smell. Cleanliness was iffy, and breakfast was subpar, though edible. The breakfast staff we saw in the mornings were nice and attentive. We’ll never stay here again, and this left me with a bad overall impression of Wyndham hotels as a whole.

My company had booked multiple rooms here, but I was the only one who had a problem with the CLC card. They wouldn’t let me check in without it. After my company called to provide it, they put me on the phone with the manager, who said I had three minutes to leave the property or they’d call the police. I’d just been sitting there waiting for a text back from my company and hadn’t done anything. The manager was so nasty to me that I think he deserves to lose his job. I’m a store manager myself, and if one of my employees spoke to someone like that, they’d be written up or fired. Worst experience ever. I don’t recommend this place at all.

The rooms were clean and quiet, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly. It’s newer than average, and I’d stay here again.

The room was spacious and clean, with a microwave and refrigerator. Online check-in made things really easy. Breakfast was included, with sausage, scrambled eggs, breads and muffins, cold cereals, milk, juices, coffee, and a waffle maker. The hallways are wide, and the portico is wheelchair friendly if that’s an issue.
