Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Blythewood by IHG

I kept forgetting my key, more than six times, and each time I needed another one the staff laughed and joked with me. Everyone I met was smiling, upbeat, and happy to chat. The woman who comes out from the kitchen now and then is especially sweet. They make this place feel top tier. Wonderful experience, 10/10.

I’m here for work, and the staff have made my stay a great experience. They’re absolutely fabulous and super friendly. The rooms are always clean, breakfast is amazing, and the gym has enough equipment for a good workout. The location is perfect too.

The room itself was nice and clean, but the shared areas were in poor shape. The hallway carpet was stained, dirty, and worn out. In the lobby there was an extremely strong perfume or cologne smell, as if they were trying to mask something else.

If not for Izzy, we would have booked another hotel. I believe that’s the front desk worker’s name. My husband asked him about 50 questions and called five or six times while we were deciding where to stay and what to do. Izzy answered every one patiently, kindly, and politely. I’ve never had someone spend so much time helping us figure things out. It was a nice change to meet someone so down to earth, well mannered, and kind. Thank you for your help, Izzy.
