The surrounding mountain views were fantastic, and I wish I could’ve stayed longer. My room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows, and both the coffee and breakfast were delicious.

We had great food and great staff, and after comparing it with the other hotel our group had booked for Saturday, I wished we’d all chosen this one. We came up a day early for a basketball tournament so we wouldn’t have to make an early drive Saturday. This hotel had everything we needed, while the other one didn’t. I told the coach we should definitely book here next year. Just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The clean, comfortable room was a plus, except for the bathroom. There was no toilet lid, which concerns me because flushing sends a fine plume of aerosols and whatever is in the bowl, including feces, around the room. That can settle on the sink, towels, or toothbrushes left out. The hotel should add a lid to keep the plume in the toilet. There also weren’t enough tables in the breakfast room when I went down. Some people ate in hallway chairs with plates on their laps, others used a door that had been closed to get into the bar area, and some ate standing up. There’s room for more tables, so the hotel should buy a few instead of being so stingy. When I booked, I got no confirmation, and at checkout there was no receipt or follow-up questionnaire. That seems arrogant. The hotel is way overpriced and poor value for money. I will NOT stay here again.

Check-in was seamless even though we arrived late, and the outdoor terrace is very nice. The place is airy and updated, with a pool that stays open late, and the room is classy. The bar kitchen was closed, though, and we missed breakfast, which could start a little later. Finding reception was confusing. The sprawling front desk area is hard to spot, and coming in from the alley off the main road, it wasn’t clear which turn led to the entrance. We wound up at a back-door terrace, then by the banquet hall, and finally found the entry around a parking lot and corner. In our room, the standing shower leaked onto the floor because of its partial, non-sliding glass panel. We also heard hallway noise from doors being slammed by patrons and staff.
