Americas Best Value Inn & Suites - N. Lima/Boardman

The room was very clean, and breakfast had a nice range of choices. It was cold when we arrived and took about an hour to warm up. We booked the jacuzzi room expecting one advertised for two, but it’s really a big jetted tub for one. Two people can squeeze in, though it isn’t comfortable.

We’ve stayed here twice now. The room was quiet, clean, and looked great, so we’ll keep choosing this place whenever we’re in the area.

We came with several family members for a wedding on September 19. I’d heard some worrying reviews beforehand, but our stay was fine. The rooms were clean, though on the small side, and the place could definitely use updates. We chose to eat breakfast elsewhere; the hotel did have a basic breakfast available.

The bathroom was the biggest problem. The shower only got lukewarm, and turning the ring on the spigot to start it was odd. Water pressure was okay on cold, but dropped by about half when switched to hot. The shampoo bottle was nearly empty, while the conditioner was completely gone. The bathroom outlet didn’t work, and trying its ground fault reset made it spark, so I couldn’t use the hair dryer there. The room itself was small, and the bed pillows were throw-pillow size. There’s a thermostat on the wall, but it does nothing. Heat and AC have to be controlled at the window unit.
