The website calls this place pet friendly, but apparently that only applies to dogs. They turned me away because I was traveling with cats. I checked the site again and couldn’t find anything saying dogs only. Hopefully they update it.

I picked this place for overnight stops in both directions of my trip, like I did last year, and I’m very pleased again. Denise, Jackie, and Tyler were so welcoming. Friendly, personable staff really do make a difference. The rooms have been updated recently and are clean, comfortable, and inviting.

It’s an older hotel, but it does the job if you need somewhere inexpensive to stay in Boardman.

For $45 plus tax on a weekday, I was surprised by how nice it was. It’s not modern, but it was clean and convenient, with a freshly cleaned smell and no odd odors. The heater was easy to use, the fridge was bigger than most, the coffee pot worked, there were plenty of outlets, and the bed was comfortable. The shower worked and drained properly. The sink was in its own room away from the toilet and shower. The desk lady was sweet, and you could grab snacks and coffee in the morning. They even had big coffee cups. A good cheap place for a night’s sleep.
