The Legendary Texas Polo Club

We had the courtyard to ourselves, and it was so peaceful. My husband and I came for our wedding weekend in March and really loved our stay. The Roosevelt was beautiful and felt both private and luxurious. We enjoyed morning coffee out on the balcony. There's a pool table, plus free drinks in the mini fridge outside the room. The location made it easy to get to the shops, river, and cafes. You can hear street noise, but the sound machine helped us sleep without noticing it. We can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Chloe stayed in touch before and after our visit, and even had the hot tea I asked for ready when we arrived. Brent gave us a great tour and shared the building's history. My husband and I were in town for a wedding and stayed in the Roosevelt. The room was enormous, with a wonderfully comfortable bed, a shower, and a huge clawfoot tub that we loved so much we took pictures for ideas for our own bathroom. The building's antiques and overall decor are beautiful and unusual, and it feels like they spared no expense. I had a blast and will definitely return. It would also make a great spot for an outdoor reception!

I love historic hotels, and the Polo Club really delivered. Online, the rooms and grounds looked great, but seeing the place in person made me realize just how lovely it was. We spent time in the billiard room, upstairs sunroom, back patio, and the big wraparound balcony, and that was only part of what the property offers. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor places to relax together. The owners are delightful, and we couldn't be happier with our weekend. Looking forward to coming back!

For a birthday weekend we stayed in the Roosevelt and had a great time. It was really clean, comfortable, and unlike anywhere else. Since the place is so small, it feels like you have it to yourself. I'd recommend staying here to anyone.
