Kitty made me feel at home throughout my solo stay, and I hope to come back with my husband. The Victorian was spacious and comfortable, with lovely decor and a little eccentricity that I especially liked. I had the second-floor "Manor Room," with a whole wall of beautiful custom-filled bookshelves, a good-sized bathroom, an electric fireplace that could run with or without heat, and a small fridge. Breakfast was as tasty as it looked, and Kitty clearly has a knack for presentation. I hope you get to try the zucchini jam.

Boiling springs was a pleasant little town, but the house itself felt very strange. There were knick-knacks everywhere and thick old carpet all through the house, even in the bathroom. The woman running the place seemed to treat having us there like a chore. My mom skipped breakfast, and she called that rude, then badmouthed us to someone in the next room.

A charming little B&B in a lovely small town, with good food and a friendly, welcoming hostess.
