Layover Inn Boise Airport

We stayed the night of 11/3/25. The room needs repairs and updating, and for all the problems it wasn’t worth even the cheap price. The bed was hard, there were no blankets, and the coffee was terrible. The cheap in-room machine didn’t work. Shower pressure dropped a lot when I turned the temperature to a comfortable heat. Three heating systems just outside our window kept cycling on and off all night, and nothing was done even after we called. The main window was almost impossible to open. It seemed absolutely illegal, since it might be needed as a fire exit. The owner should spend some profits on these things instead of putting the money in his pocket.

It was okay for the price, but the rooms didn’t look as nice as the pictures. The comforters were gross, yellowish and especially discolored around the edges, so I chose not to use them. The bathroom lock was broken, and the beds were awful and uncomfortable.

We arrived in Boise at 1am and just needed a room for the night before getting a rental car the next morning. The location worked perfectly, just .3 miles away, and we walked there in seven minutes along a sidewalk the whole way. The counter person greeted us cheerfully at 1:30am, check-in was quick, and the room was very clean with fresh paint and comfortable beds.

The room was pretty gross and rundown, and it wasn’t clean. I do think the sheets had been changed. Clothes hangers left by previous occupants were still hanging from a lampshade, the windows were very grimy, and the curtains were sloppy. The blanket on the closet rack smelled rank.
