The restaurant stood out for us. Junior and Monique got our orders right, checked that we were happy, and were great with the kids. The portions were so big the kids couldn't finish theirs. The pool was clean and spacious, and the kids had a good time playing football with other guests. Our room felt homey, neat, clean, and welcoming. Service throughout the hotel was outstanding, and the upscale feel came with a very fair nightly rate.

There were about 20 of us meeting family at the hotel bar, and Selena handled the whole group with so much patience and kindness. She was amazing. She's the reason we'll come back on a future visit.

Junior and Monique made the restaurant a highlight of our birthday weekend. They were friendly, got our orders right, and made sure we were happy throughout the visit. The hotel service was excellent too, and our room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with a homey feel. I'd definitely recommend trying the food while you're here.

The bed was pretty comfortable, and the rooms were clean, but they felt dated. Two of our four rooms had heaters that squeaked loudly; I asked to have them looked at, but nobody came. One relative in another room heard several dogs barking at night and a domestic disturbance, and kids were knocking on doors and running around. Breakfast was mixed: the pancakes weren't fully cooked, though the other food was fine. The rule about food in public spaces was the strangest part. Staff said you can't eat your own food or drink in any public area, even at the big lobby table. I travel for work and stay in hotels about 70 nights a year across the US, and I haven't encountered this before. There's a sign in the lobby, shown in my photo. If you bring a soda and sandwich, don't expect to eat them where people can see you. There are several hotels next door, and I'd suggest one of those.
