Reggie is why my company and I keep coming back, even though we spend five figures a year here and could stay elsewhere. He makes me feel at home even when I’m thousands of miles from it. Marriott corporate, please give him a raise. Thanks for everything, brotha!

The staff were fantastic, and every time we passed the front desk they offered us water. We were in a rush before a long day, so we tried the continental breakfast even though I usually skip it. It had actual plates, cups, and silverware, four hot options including two premade sandwiches, and the usual waffle station with a large Belgian waffle or four mini ones. The hotel is clean, modern, and conveniently located. My only complaint, which applies to hotel brands generally, is that housekeeping comes every other day. After a long day, it’d be nice to return to a made bed and fresh towels. When I’m back in the area, this will be the first place I check for availability.

The location off 55 is nice, but I’d pick another property. The sheets weren’t changed, and they were so thin that they didn’t help make the uncomfortable bed any better. There’s also a waiver about following human dignity standards, which felt odd to sign. I couldn’t sleep because the neighbor was playing football so loudly it felt like I was announcing the game. The front desk wouldn’t intervene and offered only 1000 points. The HVAC was broken too: heating left the room at 74, while cooling brought it to 94. Worst stay in my 25 years of travel. Keep driving if you want a chance at getting some sleep.

The room was large and comfortable, with a smart layout. There was space to lounge, a work desk, and a kitchenette, along with the sleeping area and bathroom.
