Bonnie View Resort

I love how they've kept so many trees on the grounds. Some places clear a lot of them, but not this one. The owners are great, the staff are friendly, and it's family friendly, though it seems to get fewer families than some other places. We've stayed in a knotty pine cottage two or three times and found the prices very reasonable for what you get. It's about two minutes from the Village of Bolton Landing and ten from the Village of Lake George. Before this year, I hadn't been up to Lake George in four years. I've also stayed at Capri seven times and the Juliana once. Can't wait to come back!

Larry and Dylan were genuinely nice and treated their guests so well. We really enjoyed our recent vacation at the Bonnie View. The location right on Lake George gives you a beautiful view from many spots around the resort. Our Knotty Pine Cottage was among the cleanest places we've ever stayed, with the refrigerator, stove top, and utensils we needed. We knew in advance what wasn't supplied, so we brought a coffee pot. Hope we can return next summer.

We show up every year and are treated like family. It's been nearly 40 years since my first stay at the Bonnie View, and it has become a big part of our family's summer vacation. Now my children get to enjoy the best in Bolton too. The lake view is outstanding, and the grounds are kept up so well. Larry runs the place like a top and goes above and beyond to help however he can. You get a picturesque view of the lake here, about as close to heaven on earth as I can imagine. There are plenty of spots around the property to sit, read, and enjoy the amazing view. The rooms and cottages are lovely, with a gorgeous Lake George view. The swimming setup suits a lakefront place, though anyone hoping for a sandy beach might be a little disappointed. If you just want to cool off in the water, there are stairs down to the lake, a roped-off swimming area, and a floating dock.
