Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Boone

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely stay. Cobblestone was really clean and nice. An elevator would’ve been useful, but we managed without one.

We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels over the years, and this is easily the best. Other rooms often smell like stale smoke or musty socks, so we’ve had to use spray, but there was none of that here. It’s also close to the ski resort. Definitely recommend it.

The people at the front desk were pleasant, and housekeeping brought clean towels and other things promptly. My room was very clean, and breakfast was good. Coffee, tea, and other drinks were available all day, plus the fresh afternoon cookies were delicious.

We liked nearly everything here: clean rooms with what we needed, easy parking, pet friendly, and free breakfast. The $25 fee for arriving before 3:00 pm was the one thing we didn’t like. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels, and everywhere else let me check in early for free when the room was ready. A breakfast tip: the bacon is oddly thin, soft, and flavorless. Look in the small fridge for breakfast sandwiches, on the top shelf behind the black border around the glass door.
