The breakfast card was eventually handed to my family, but it should have been given to us at check-in. When I went to the breakfast bar, I had to ask for the card for our free breakfast, and the employee said she’d forgotten it. We were there for graduation on 12/12/25 and arrived at 2:30p. We were told the rooms weren’t ready because they’d been almost full the night before for graduation. A few minutes later, though, the same employee checked in another customer. Another employee then tried to check us in, but ran into a problem because we’d booked through a third party. We looked for elevators to get to our room, and nobody told us what time breakfast was the next morning. Customer satisfaction matters a lot to me. Please make sure employees understand it so you can keep being a first 5 star hotel.

The rooms are starting to look a little worn, but everything else keeps bringing us back. We’ve stayed many times over the last three years because the location is great and the staff are wonderful. Hannah at the front desk is the best, and as platinum members they always do their best to upgrade us. We like earning our points, and the breakfast sandwich is highly recommendable. Benny made us a great one with a fresh brioche bun, arugula, a little lemon dressing, and crispy bacon. Yum. See you all again soon!

Whoever was on the front desk and housekeeping on Saturday evening Dec 27 was superb. The bistro was a different story. At 8:30 this morning, we waited more than 20 minutes in line, then probably another 25 minutes for oatmeal and yogurt. There was one cashier and one person in the kitchen. The woman working there seemed really frazzled and needed help. The hotel needs to staff up properly even when college kids are on break. Nobody answers the front desk phone either. Not great customer service.

I requested a high floor and Mountain View as a gold elite Marriott member, but got a ground-floor room looking at the trash cans. The hotel wasn’t booked solid, so I can’t help thinking it was done on purpose for some little man syndrome reason. So frustrating.

The internet here is really slow and needs work. Otherwise, it’s a standard, no-frills Courtyard, with the usual check-in routine. The staff were courteous, but didn’t do anything to stand out or improve the customer experience the way I’ve seen at other Marriott properties.
