The towels were thin, and the bathroom could use more hooks or somewhere to put toiletries. There’s also some road noise, so bring ear plugs. On the plus side, we’d been traveling for a week before arriving in Lincoln and really appreciated the clean new laundromat beside both the main Inn and the Victorian house. We stayed three nights at the Whitetail Inn on the recommendation of local friends. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the price was good. The unit looked just like the pictures. It came with a Keurig-type coffee maker and pods, shampoo, soap, and a blow dryer. Keys are in lock boxes rather than on an open counter, and they text you the instructions. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The room felt more like a small apartment, with wood floors and antique furniture. The owner and his family were very friendly. I was there for business for 3-4 nights, my first time in Lincoln Maine. I think I was in room 15, closest to the road, so it was a little noisy until about 9 PM. Even so, I’d call The Whitetail a hidden gem.

The location is convenient, within walking distance of everything in town, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They always make me feel welcome. I stay at The Whitetail Inn in Lincoln, Maine several times a year, and it’s consistently a great experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the beds are too. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lincoln!

I called the woman who owns the business with a question, and she complained about the time I called, as if they weren’t accepting calls. She kept interrupting and wouldn’t let me finish or even get my question out, then cursed at me over the phone. They’re rude and only want your money. Stay somewhere else.
