La Quinta Inn And Suites By Wyndham Lincoln

Our grandkids went to the pool every day, and breakfast was good. The staff were welcoming all week, and the Blink EV chargers, placed on every side of the hotel, worked perfectly. New, clean, and very nice. No complaints, only compliments for La Quinta, Lincoln.

We spent a few weeks here while our home was being remodeled, and the whole team made the long stay feel like home. Everyone we met was kind and went out of their way to welcome us. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, nothing like a typical corporate hotel. The lobby, breakfast area, pool, gym, and rest of the facility were all exceptionally clean and well cared for. I really appreciate the staff for making our stay such a good one. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place in Lincoln.

Everyone we spoke with at the front desk and breakfast area was very nice. The hot breakfast choices weren't very appetizing for what we paid per night, though maybe that's just getting common at hotels like this. The bed coverings are much too lightweight for us. As soon as we got into bed, I asked my wife if I should call the front desk for blankets, and she said yes right away. Their guests are mostly 50 or older, and we get cold. I also don't love the vinyl floor in the bedroom instead of carpet, though I understand it's easier to maintain. It's a very nice, new, clean hotel, but the bathrooms have no towel bars or hooks in the shower. The shower door glass was so tall we didn't even try hanging towels up there. I carried a table from the bedroom into the bathroom to keep our towels off the floor, and there was nowhere to hang washcloths while showering. Ridiculous.

For nearly $300 a night, this was a very disappointing stay. The room was dark, damp, and small, with no drawers for socks or underwear. We could hear activity in the rooms next door and above us all night, so the sound insulation is minimal. The toilet seat and lid weren't attached properly and slid side to side. There were fleas in the room too, which surprised me given the lack of carpet. I assume they were in the bedding or chair fabric.
