Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lincoln NE

I found roaches in two separate rooms. Switching rooms didn’t solve the problem, and the place smelled as if it had recently been sprayed for bugs, so I left for another hotel. The service was good, though, and I got my money back without any trouble.

The food places nearby were convenient and not a long drive, even for someone unfamiliar with the area. I stayed three days while in town for the Nebraska Blackout Football game, which we should’ve won, and had a good time. GO BIG RED

We checked out and left the same day we arrived, but they still wouldn’t give me a full refund. The room was terrible: sticky floors, stained towels and bedding, a torn A/C filter, hair all over the bathroom floor, and a filthy bathtub. There was also a marijuana nugget on the floor. I reported it all to the front desk. The response was, “well do you want a broom?” I was baffled and said no, then he offered fresh towels and apologized. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I travel for work and usually don’t fuss over hotels, but people should know about this place. The bathroom had sticky floors and no ventilation, and there were red-brown marks that seemed to be on the mattress and continued into the bathroom. Cleanliness was below average. The secondary deadbolt looked like it had been torn off, possibly after someone kicked in the door, and there was a language barrier at the front desk.
