Martha's Bed and Breakfast

The owner/manager was so helpful with suggestions and information about our stay, especially when our second daughter decided at the last minute to join her sister and me. The house still feels like a home and has kept its early 20th century look, with beautiful wood, furnishings, and lovely antiques throughout. The beds were very comfortable, and the place was affordable. He clearly loves creating beauty and sharing it with others. We'll return.

The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the house has lots of character, with beautiful antique furnishings and a charming look. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was nicely presented, though it was lighter than I expected, just fruit and an English muffin. The antique bed looked lovely but creaked loudly whenever we moved. While we were out, a small bottle of whisky appeared in our bathroom, which felt unsettling. Our first night the room was quite hot, and I didn't get a response when I asked for a fan, but eventually the a/c was turned up and the room became comfortable. Check-in is very strict, so arrive exactly at your chosen time. It's a memorable place, though a few details could be better.

Todd, the owner, was informative and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The room was lovely, and the Craftsman style home has beautiful details. We only stayed for one night, so we didn't use the porch, though it looked like a nice spot to gather. It's a beautiful bed and breakfast, and we highly recommend it.

Todd really went out of his way for me. My booking at another place fell through when I arrived and found the accommodations lacking in every way, so I called him. He welcomed me to Martha's and found me one of the most gorgeous rooms I've ever stayed in. Everything was perfect, including how close it was to restaurants and amenities. Breakfast was lovely, and the coffee was excellent. Todd works hard to make your stay extraordinary. I can't wait to travel through again and stay at Martha's.
