The check-in was quick and easy, but the room smelled so bad we bought air freshener to put by the AC. I barely got four hours of sleep because the bed was so uncomfortable. The chair was visibly dirty, and the fitness center was being used for storage, so it couldn’t be used. The hallway was dark and breakfast options were limited. We wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room worked well for what I needed that night. It had two comfortable queen beds, a clean dorm-size fridge and microwave, and a single-cup coffee maker with coffee. The front desk and phone service were both great. There’s no elevator, and I was on the third floor, but I made it work. The hotel is out in the middle of nowhere, with a racetrack across the street that hosts the national YMCA speedway Nationals every couple of years. The track was packed and hosting races that night, but the hotel wasn’t noisy.

We had a great two-night stay just after Christmas. The rooms were clean, and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful, especially Tim Robinson, whom we met over breakfast. He was friendly and accommodating, gave us good ideas for places to eat and things to see, and kept the busy breakfast area clean and stocked. Breakfast was good, with plenty of everything. Give it a try if you’re in the Boone area. We hope to come back soon!

Our first room was barely made up, had the previous guest’s trash, and no towels. The front desk apologized and moved us, then made some very unprofessional comments about housekeeping. The second room was better, but there was crusty stuff stuck to the carpet, and the bed was hard as a board. The smoke detector started beeping in the middle of the night, and housekeeping knocked on the door bright and early. Not the best sleep we’ve had.
