We’ve been here twice and both trips were hard to fault. The first time we stayed in a room and got to enjoy the whole property. We came back with friends and rented one of the lovely houses. Firewood was waiting by the door, and we had a great evening with a fire in the fireplace. There’s plenty to do, from the pool and trails to fishing, kayaks, a canoe, and a dock to stroll along. They also took us out on their boats for a tour of the coast and shared stories about the area. The hosts put on a s’mores cookout for the kids, and we even went out with lobster fishermen and caught lobsters. Great food and drinks, plus good nearby restaurants and puffin and whale watching tours. The people really want you to have a good stay. I’d love to live here year round, and hope we can visit again.

After sailing overnight from Belfast, we arrived exhausted early one October morning. The welcome was incredibly kind and hospitable. We were also pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the restaurant food was, especially coming from New Orleans. I’ll recommend this resort to friends and family visiting the Maine coast.

There’s a lot of charm here, and plenty of families return year after year. We met a couple who had been spending two weeks at Linekin Bay annually for over 40 years. We enjoyed the beautiful views around the property and going paddle boarding and kayaking from the dock. The activities and scenery make it worthwhile. Staff seemed a little overworked and understaffed, as at many places in the region, so don’t expect everyone to be especially warm.

The grounds were lovely, with stunning plants, and our room was spotless with a beautiful view. My partner and I had a wonderful time. Breakfast was a buffet with lots to choose from, and the place had a cozy feel that made me wish we could stay longer. The staff were so friendly, and Jordan was especially helpful. I’d highly recommend it and would like to come back for a longer visit.

We stayed aboard our sailboat on a mooring ball, and access to most of the resort came with the mooring fee. The service really stood out, every employee seemed keen to make our stay pleasant. There’s a nice pool, guest laundry, and a good dinghy dock. We saw lots of families, and there was enough water sports gear, lawn games, and table games to keep everyone entertained.
