Smuggler's Cove Inn

The family running the property are wonderfully generous hosts who clearly care about both the place and their guests. Our clean, comfortable room faced the water, with lovely still mornings and spectacular sunsets. Kayaks, paddleboards, a heated pool, and delicious breakfasts are all included. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot tucked into a cove right on the water, about a 10-minute drive from Boothbay Harbor. We loved our stay and are looking forward to coming back.

We’ve been coming here as a family for the past four years, and it’s been a wonderful stay each time. Cash is especially kind and goes out of the way to accommodate guests. The whole staff genuinely cares about making sure people have a great experience. The hotel is right by the water, the rooms are clean, service is excellent, and the restaurant food is always good quality. One of our favorite places to stay, and we absolutely recommend it.

The restaurant served the best food I’ve ever had, and the staff were so helpful and clearly take pride in the place. The rooms are beautiful and the amenities are fabulous. It’s a peaceful, quiet hotel right on the ocean. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it.

The breakfast is a real treat, and it’s included in the room rate. Even though I’m gluten free, there was plenty for me to eat. I usually went for the scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon, and fruit, while the pancakes, French toast, pastries, and bagels all looked tempting too. Smuggler's Cove has a beautiful setting and friendly staff. Thanks for a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend checking it out when you’re in Booth Bay.
