The rooms look a little dated, and some furnishings are tired, but the staff I met were all super friendly. I liked the comfy bed, the roomy sitting area with a sturdy sofa, and the nice balcony. Breakfast, the avocado toast, was delicious.

Our room was roomy and comfortable, with its own balcony. The decor could use a refresh, and there are no elevators to the second-floor rooms, which may matter to some visitors. The hallway doors on the exterior didn't lock. Lobby staff were helpful and answered our questions. Borrego Springs is a tourist town, and the lodging was mid-priced.

For my daughter's birthday, we had a great time at this resort. The rooms were clean and everyone was friendly. Staff made her feel special and even brought a gift to our room. Thanks for making the stay special for my family. We'll definitely be back before long!

The rooms were quiet and the location was great, and this was probably the nicest hotel in Borrego Springs. But the bill left a very bad impression. I was quoted $201 per night, then the emailed total for four nights came to more than $1165, or over $290 a night. Taxes and fees added more than $90 per night. I was extremely disappointed and won't stay here again. I guess I should have asked for the full total before booking.

It's clean and safe, which matter a lot, but the hotel is dated. The walls are thin and noise carries. For what we paid, I expected the place to be a little nicer, though the cost probably reflects that it's one of the area's nicest properties.
