Extended Studio Suite Hotel

I booked through Priceline, but when I arrived, nobody was at the door or front desk. Apparently the hotel had sold out and given my room away, leaving me without a place to stay. I asked for a refund or even credit toward another night, and they never called back. Nothing was offered. This was a complete rip-off. There are plenty of other places to stay, and I’ll never recommend this one. I hope they go out of business. No stars!

The hotel is disorganized, and the rooms aren’t clean. You may have to get your key fixed three or four times before it works. The staff aren’t helpful, and all they seem to care about is money. Bring your own cleaning supplies. This isn’t a place to stay.

I found a syringe inside the sofa bed when I removed the cushions to make it up. The towels were old, the pillows felt like knotted stuffing, and the fridge’s ice maker didn’t work. There were no dishes or cookware at all, despite it being advertised as a suite. Breakfast was advertised too, but there wasn’t any. It was cold outside, and the heat wouldn’t keep the room warm when the temperature dropped at night. A lot was broken or dirty. The only positive was the fresh paint. The TV had no box when we arrived, though they fixed that, and they also fixed the toilet, which wouldn’t fill and flush at first. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We booked three nights, but saw cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchen as soon as we arrived. There was also dog poop on the floor in the downstairs bathroom. I spoke with manager April Stutts, who had no other room for us and said she would refund us. She didn’t, even after Booking.com contacted them about it. I left that night, spent even more money on somewhere clean, and accepted that I might not get my money back. The money wasn’t the issue. I wasn’t going to sleep with roaches and dog poop in the room. I travel three weekends a month and stay in hotels, suites, and houses. This is the only time I’ve felt I needed to find somewhere else. I understand a new housekeeper might not do the job, but as a business owner myself, I wouldn’t blame a customer for my employees’ shortcomings. They said they did a 30-minute cleanup of the dog mess, then blamed me for not wanting to stay. If blaming me makes them feel better about the nasty place, so be it. I’ve seen other reviews that line up with what I wrote, and I think my account is more accurate than their response. Customers aren’t always right, but I believe we were in this case. I highly recommend avoiding this place.
